If your artwork doesn’t meet your expectations, our returns and exchanges policy is designed to be as elegant and straightforward as the art we offer.

Return & Exchange Eligibility

We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of your receipt of the artwork. To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be:

  • In its original condition, unused and undamaged
  • In the original packaging with all protective materials intact
  • Accompanied by the original receipt or proof of purchase

Non-Returnable Items

Due to the nature of certain artworks, the following cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Custom or commissioned pieces (including works by featured artists like Anthony Van Lam, Julia Purington, or Danhui Nai that were specifically created for your order)
  • Digital art downloads or prints that have been accessed or downloaded
  • Items marked as “final sale” or “clearance”
  • Artworks that have been damaged due to improper handling or display after delivery

Return & Exchange Process

Step 1: Submit Your Return/Exchange Request

Within 15 days of receiving your order, please contact us at [email protected] with the following information:

Step 2: Receive Return Authorization

Once we receive your request, we’ll respond within 2 business days with:

  • A Return Authorization Number
  • Detailed return shipping instructions
  • The return shipping address

Step 3: Ship Your Return

Please package the item securely in its original packaging and include:

  • The Return Authorization Number clearly visible on the outside of the package
  • A copy of your original order confirmation or receipt

We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance, as Artora Store is not responsible for return shipments that are lost or damaged in transit.

Step 4: Processing Your Return/Exchange

Once we receive your returned item, we will:

  • Inspect the item within 3-5 business days
  • Process your refund or exchange
  • Send you a confirmation email once completed

Refund Information

Refund Timeline

Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days after we receive and inspect your returned item. The timing of when you’ll see the refund in your account depends on your payment method and financial institution:

  • Credit Card payments (Visa, MasterCard, JCB): 5-10 business days after we process the refund
  • PayPal payments: 3-5 business days after we process the refund

What Will Be Refunded

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.

Exchange Process

If you’re exchanging an item for a different artwork:

  • We’ll process the exchange once we receive your returned item
  • If the new item costs more, we’ll invoice you for the difference
  • If the new item costs less, we’ll refund the difference
  • The new item will be shipped using your original shipping method
